Tracy is the President and Founder of SUMM. She has been an educational consultant, as well as a part-time instructor in the College of Education at Seattle University. As a former Special Education and Math teacher, and a former School Board Director, she specializes in the concepts of math identity and promoting math as an accessible and equitable subject for all learners. She earned a BA in Economics at the University of California at Santa Barbara, an International MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a Master in Teaching from Seattle University. She lives with her husband and one of their three adult daughters on Mercer Island. Her interests include skiing, yoga, unicycling, puzzles, and traveling. Her background in business, technology, education, problem-solving and adventure have dovetailed in this project to start a Math Museum in Seattle!
