Director of Program Experience

Emily is an educator and leader dedicated to fostering inclusive, engaging learning environments and designing authentic and transformative experiences in mathematics education. As the Director of Program Experience, she focuses on creating and facilitating programs that empower learners, support educators, and build meaningful connections between teaching, learning, and community.

As someone who once struggled to understand math in school, Emily is passionate about helping students build confidence, curiosity, and a sense of belonging in mathematics. She believes every learner deserves the chance to see themselves as capable problem-solvers and creative thinkers. Emily is always looking for ways to instill confidence in those who believe they are not a “math person” and to ignite a love for math through innovative, accessible, and joyful experiences.

Emily holds a Master of Education in Educational Technology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Education in Elementary Math from Central Michigan University, with minors in Elementary Language Arts and Middle Level Education.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys reading at beaches and coffee shops throughout Seattle, playing board games, and traveling to National Parks across the country.
