For much of her life, Dina saw Math and Art as two separate paths. It wasn't until she started teaching that she discovered how naturally they complement one another. She's been exploring the intersection between math, art and technology ever since.  With lots of trial and even more error, she uses electronics, 3D printing, laser cutting, and any kind of craft she can find to bring mathematical concepts to life.

Dina earned her Master's degree from Western Washington University, where she taught for several years before going on to complete her PhD in pure mathematics at the University of Victoria. She now lives in Bellingham, WA, working as a software developer and deepening her knowledge in finite computing across both software and hardware.
