Ali Alpay

Ali is a marketing and sales leader with over 25 years of experience in building global technology teams, currently working as a Managing Director at Google Cloud. From playing board games to studying econometrics, from building models to learning music theory, his encounters with math made him an education advocate who believes in mathematical literacy as an essential early life skill.

Ali lives on Mercer Island, WA, with his wife, two daughters, and Biewer Terrier. He loves hiking, biking, skiing, and tennis with his family when the Pacific Northwest weather is friendly; he is a voracious reader and an enthusiastic yet hopeless guitar student when it is not. Ali holds a B.A. from Yale University, an M.B.A. from the Wharton School, and an M.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
