Ellen Hochberg
Ellen Hochberg grew up in the suburbs on New York and Chicago but has made her home in the Northwest since the 1980’s. She earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Southern Illinois University. After working as a designer and animator for many years in broadcast TV and video production, she returned to school and received her Master of Arts degree in Painting from New York University. Her work has been exhibited throughout Seattle as well as in galleries in New York, Venice and Stockholm. For over 20 years she taught art on Mercer Island in the public schools, ran an after-school art program as well as camps at the Stroum JCC.
