Join us for Saturday Origami @ SUMM, designed for 1st – 5th graders and their parents! This four-week course blends art and mathematics, offering a hands-on approach to geometry, spatial reasoning, and problem-solving. Each session will include an entry challenge, icebreaker activity, and guided lesson.

No prior origami experience is needed for Week 1! Basic origami skills needed for Weeks 2-4.

Weekly Themes:

• Week 1: Origami Essentials

• Week 2: 2D Modular Star

• Week 3: Froebel Fold

• Week 4: 3D Modular Polyhedra

Children must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver, who will be encouraged to participate as well to create a shared learning experience.

Cost:

• $100 / family for all 4 courses

• $35 / family for 1 drop-in session
