Origami Platonic Solids @ SUMM (Session 5)

Join us for Session 5 of Origami Platonic Solids @ SUMM, designed for families with children aged 7+ or individual adults with beginner to intermediate origami experience! Led by origami expert Rona Gurkewitz, participants will explore the geometry and mathematics of the Platonic Solids through the art of Modular Origami.

This series will take place over the course of 5 Saturday sessions, 1 per month, from August to December. Participants can join in at any point in the five-session series. All materials are provided. 

Session 5 Focus:

Students will learn to make a different versions of the platonic solid, the icosahedron.

Drop-in Session Pricing:

  • $35 per family, which includes parent(s)/caregiver(s) and their child(ren). Children must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver, who will be encouraged to participate as well to create a shared learning experience.

  • $20 per individual adult, age 18+
