Come check out Seattle Universal Math Museum’s public-facing community math space at Kent Station — a place to play and discover math through hands-on experiences.
In addition to our Origami Exhibit this Saturday SUMM welcomes you to the next addition of our new space, a MathHappens Math Room. This space was developed in partnership with MathHappens Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping people experience math as it naturally appears in the world around us.
Our open hours are a chance to explore the space and our initial exhibit, fold some paper, and help us learn as we launch.
Whether you’re a math enthusiast, math-curious, or just passing by, you’re invited to drop in and explore.
Admission to SUMM @ Kent Station is FREE thanks to support from 4Culture, MathHappens, and the City of Kent. While admission is free, donations are appreciated and directly support SUMM’s programs and educators. We recommend a donation of $5 per person during drop-in hours.
