3D Printables
Many of the puzzles, games, and building toys we bring to events were designed and printed by SUMM staff and community members. People frequently ask, “Can I buy these?” We don’t yet have the infrastructure to offer these for purchase, but if you have access to a 3D printer, you are welcome to print copies for personal and educational use.
Examples
Tensegrity Building System
Tensegrity is a system of balancing tension and compression forces to create architectural pieces that appear to “float.” This toy will allow you to experiment with this design principle by crafting your own sculptures or building examples inspired by polyhedra.
Polygon Dissection Puzzles
One of our most popular creations, this set of puzzles is based on best-known dissections between regular polygons. Each is two puzzles in one!
