Welcome new team members!

We're excited to welcome our newest team members. We're so grateful for their talent, experience and enthusiasm!

Meet Renee, our new Bookkeeper and Data Entry Specialist.

Renee has always enjoyed math in school. Her love for math led her to try taking accounting courses in high school. Now Renee is a student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign double majoring in accounting and information systems.

Lisa is joining us as a Development Assistant.

Lisa brings over 25 years of successful fundraising experience, primarily at academic institutions including the Salk Institute and UC San Diego. She also is the daughter of a junior high math teacher who added a puzzles and games class to his school’s curriculum, and who instilled in his students and his family a love of math.

Heather is joining us as a Program + Volunteer Coordinator.

Heather is a Certified Nonprofit Professional with experience in elementary and alternative education. She received her B.S. in Recreation Management from Brigham Young University.

She has worked with the Pinelands Institute of Natural and Environmental Studies, Hike It Baby, Mathnasium and more.

Meet Mandy – she is joining us as an Educator.

Mandy is a STEM educator passionate about developing and delivering exciting, hands-on programming. She has a B.S. in Astronomy and Physics from the University of Arizona where she was involved in astronomy research and education, and received an M.S. in Science Education from Oregon State University. She is excited to bring her educational experience to SUMM.
