Tsai-En Cheng, a Dean at Green River College, and a Chinese Instructor at Seattle Central College, merges a diverse educational background with a commitment to educational innovation including MA in TESOL from Seattle University, a K-12 Chinese immersion teaching certificate with a special Math and Science endorsement, and foundational degrees in Communication Arts and Accounting and Statistics.

Her achievements encompass leading significant educational initiatives, such as Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT), earning multiple Excellence of Teaching and Service Awards, and championing inclusive workforce and educational equity as a first-generation college student and immigrant. Tsai-En also contributes to the city's economic development council and other advisory boards. Her commitment to education and community service is also evident through her volunteer work with the Tzu-Chi Foundation and the Northwest Chinese School Association, where she supports disaster relief and promotes cultural heritage. Living in North Seattle and working in South King County, Tsai-En is a mother of two who enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking, and museum visits. Tsai-En’s involvement with Seattle Universal Math Museum is driven by a firm belief in making math both accessible and enjoyable for all. Her expertise in innovative programming, strategic partnerships, and inclusive educational practices are invaluable assets to SUMM.

With over two decades of teaching experience and numerous accolades for her contributions to education, Tsai-En is poised to significantly influence the museum's direction and enhance its community presence, making math a beloved subject across diverse age groups and backgrounds.
