SUMM + Music Notes

Are you ready to become a star?

Join us on September 17 and 18 for songwriting workshops and concerts where artists teach audience members how to write their own songs!

SUMM presents math concerts and songwriting workshops with Music Notes.

Music Notes combines hip hop with their teaching experience to create high energy songs, music videos, and concert experiences that promote various aspects of education, including MATH! Started in 2009 by middle school teachers in Los Angeles, California, Music Notes blends education and fun to create an unforgettable experience for students of all ages.

Music Notes offers workshops and concerts to entertain, inspire and empower students of all ages. Led by professional artists, these workshops emphasize the importance of academic motivation, character development, and physical health.

This songwriting workshop is designed for children and their families to explore the many opportunities that exist when you write songs based on math. Whether you're already an aspiring songwriter or have never written a song before, this workshop will be a fun activity to learn about writing lyrics that share your love for math and learning.

The concerts and workshops are free with admission to the museums.

All ages are welcome.
